Bang Bang! Shots are fired in the most vivid of colours! Pop Art conveys sound and beats by combining the most dominant colours. The popping sound explodes in your eyes with the colours. This goes to show the role of colours in storytelling as a tool used to convey the senses. In a similar way, a colour palette comprised of the colours nature presents to use can contain the power to portray a manmade explosion. Pop Art makes storytelling more effective by instrumentalising the senses such as smell, sound, taste perceived as colour by the sense organs. This is known as synesthesia. We carried this thought into the “BANG BANG” series and brought forth the collision effect in comic books. Limited to 50 pieces, each “warning” piece is handmade, and no two are alike.
