Are the unknowns in space that are odd, or are the odds of space here on earth? A significant number of resources are funnelled into studying space, aiming to solve its oddities and bring meaning to its unknowns. But the real oddness is here: thousands of satellites orbiting the earth and space debris, also known as “space junk.” In addition, thousands of manmade objects, large and small, with no purpose, and unknown in number, are floating around the world in a void. This series rethinks the oddities of our space adventure and the absurdity that we’ve created in space, represented through a Lego astronaut. Its name comes from Davide Bowie’s famous song “Space Oddity”. The series is limited to 20 drawings. The number located at the bottom left corner is the piece number of your drawing.
