Art has always been a part of my life, even during my time as a sociology student. I deeply enjoyed studying sociology and urban studies, where I completed my master\u2019s degree, but creating art was always a necessity for me. During these years, I took painting classes from various artists in Istanbul. In 2020, I began selling my artwork for the first time under the name “Kara Vox,” and I quickly became captivated by the ability to connect with others through art.<\/p>\n

From 2014 to 2019, I was actively involved in the field of forced migration, both academically and as a volunteer. I can now see how this experience has influenced my art. In my master\u2019s thesis, I explored ‘uncertainty,’ particularly within the context of refugee journeys. This theme has extended into my art, specifically in my recent exclusive works, where I express ‘uncertainty’ through the ambiguity of light beams, symbolizing the fluid and shifting nature of reality.<\/p>\n
